Prima XL 9000 Auto Prima pumps 7200 - 15000 are high pressure, solids handling pumps, designed specifically to pass large solids, up to 10mm, from the pond to a biological filter.Due to the design of these pumps they have the power to pump high volumes of contaminated water through the restrictions encountered in most filter systems.These Stainless steel Prima pumps are available with an optional float switch that will turn the pump off if the water drops below a certain adjustable level.Improvements introduced in 1999 to the stainless steel cased Prima pumps have resulted in class leading reliability for this style of pump. .To make pump selection easier Prima pumps are all rated at 1.2m (4ft) to allow for flow losses due to a UVC, a spray bar, and a typical 60cm (2ft) lift up to a filter.Steel bodied, robust and reliable submersible pumps capable of handling solids of up to 10mm diameter, with maximum flow rates from 8400 to 15000L/PH.
